We know the drill. You pick up your phone to check the weather, and an hour later you are trapped in the algorithm of outrage, doomscrolling through arguments, wars, and political chaos. You feel helpless. You feel angry. You pick up your “warrior keyboard” to fight strangers online, hoping to change a mind, to sway a decision-maker.
But what if we told you that the most powerful tool for change isn’t a keyboard? It’s a crayon.
There is a reason we say, “From the mouths of babes.” It’s because children haven’t learned to couch their truth in diplomatic jargon.
They speak directly to the heart of the matter. They don’t see borders; they see a planet. They don’t see enemies; they see other children.
As adults, we have failed to move the needle with logic and protest letters.
As SustainaClaus has observed since meeting a young Greta Thunberg with Wednesday the Low Carbon Panda (and father, Svante holding Roger the Reality Rooster) back in 2018 - watching the birth of the “Fridays For Future” movement - the adults weren’t listening to scientists, so the children had to take to the streets.

You might be feeling the need to “wake up” yourself. That’s where Roger the Reality Rooster comes in. Roger isn’t here to scare you; he’s here to remind you that the alarm has been ringing for years. He’s an important mascot of ConscienceLAND - a place where citizenship is based on conscience, not geography.
We invite you, your family and friends to join us as Citizens of ConscienceLAND.
But with citizenship comes a simple, powerful action:
The “Faceless Photo” Challenge We want to flood the internet with the only voices that truly matter: the children. But in a world of digital predators and privacy concerns, we must be smart. We must be safe.
That is why we ask you to take a “Faceless Photo” - a portrait of your child holding their creation directly in front of their face.
This does 2 things:
1. Safety & Security: It protects their identity from those who wish to do them harm.
2. Mystery & Intrigue: It forces the viewer to focus on the message, not the messenger. They lean in, trying to read the letter or decipher the drawing. They become curious. They become engaged.
Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept it...) Instead of languishing in drawers or under fridge magnets, let’s turn those precious artworks into global beacons of hope.
Here is how you participate:
1. FIND a child or young person.
2. GIVE them a good pen and a sheet of paper.
3. ASK them to write a “Letter to the Future” describing what they want, or to draw a picture of the world they want to inherit. (No prompts - let them lead!)
4. CAPTURE a “faceless photo.” Have them hold their letter or drawing in front of their face. (If you are a Citizen of ConscienceLAND, consider using the “Three Finger Salute” while holding the paper - a sign of solidarity and recognition.)
5. POST that beautiful, intriguing image to your (Social Media, email ) network.

Why This Works When thousands of parents sign a single protest letter, it gets filed. But when millions of children’s faces - hidden behind their dreams - start popping up on every feed, it creates a different kind of pressure. It creates reflection.
The decision-makers in this world have children. They were all children themselves once.
By sharing these messages, we give them a chance to remember what they actually wanted before power and politics corrupted them.
Let’s stop trying to tear down the walls with our bare hands.
Let’s simply let the children show us a world where the walls don’t exist.
